This book is a sequel to THE PLEASURES OF VEGETARIAN COOKING. As in
my earlier book, the emphasis is on simple, quick and relatively
economical dishes. And to facilitate reproducibility, the procedures
are given step-wise and using a minimum of technical terms.
The general arrangement follows the earlier book but a few new sections have been added. One is drawn on Burmese and Mexican cuisine- with adaptations to suit local tastes and ingredients-and another is specially writer for children. And so as to make the book self-contained, some basic recipes have been repeated in a special new section.
The book has been planned for women who would like to be proud of their cooking. If you follow the recipes and instructions carefully, the results-both tasty and colourful-are bound to follow. And I can wish you nothing more than compliment, both from your family and your friends, as a super cook and hostess.
